The inaugural Motor Sport Hall of Fame first took place in February 2010. Its eight founding members – Tazio Nuvolari, Enzo Ferrari, Juan Manuel Fangio, Stirling Moss, Jim Clark, Jackie Stewart, Ayrton Senna, and Michael Schumacher – were adopted, and then, for the inaugural ceremony, Mario Andretti, Jacky Ickx, Tony Brooks and Ron Dennis were inducted. Each year four more racing luminaries are inducted to the Motor Sport Magazine Hall of Fame.  
AN EVENING WITH THE LEGENDS OF LE MANS DINNER Hope for Tomorrow is celebrating the Le Mans 24 Hour Race, the most famous endurance motor race in the world, with an event at The Hurlingham Club, London SW6 3PR on Wednesday 18th May. This black tie dinner event is supported by Ford Motor Company who are celebrating their return to Le Mans 50 years after their famous 1-2-3 hat trick victory in 1966 with their Ford GT40’s.

The 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed theme will be ‘Full Throttle – The Endless Pursuit of Power’ as Goodwood celebrates the most powerful competition cars and bikes in the history of motor sport. Alongside the central theme FoS, 2016 will also celebrate the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500, celebrate the inaugural Can-Am Series 50 years ago and pay tribute to James Hunt on the 40th anniversary of his World Championship victory with McLaren in 1976.
